Calathea Midwifery is a self-pay practice and is not contracted with any insurance companies or Medicaid. Insurance may be billed for certain services or reimbursement sought afterwards.
Complete pregnancy care
$7,500
This package covers full prenatal, home birth, and postpartum care. All visits take place in the home and last about 1 hour. Routine lab work and fetal anatomy ultrasound are included. Additional fees required for supplies and any specialized labs/testing if indicated. After birth the midwife will assist in immediate postpartum recovery, perform the newborn's first physical exam and file for the birth certificate. Up to 4 visits with the midwife in the first 8 weeks postpartum are included.
Planned hospital birth
$4,000
All of the above package except birth will occur at the client's hospital of choice with that facility's midwife of physician. Perfect for those that desire the intimate, individualized care of a midwife but feel drawn to a hospital birth.
Wellness visit
$250
Comprehensive health care for non-pregnant individuals. Full physical exam, breast exam, Pap, and labs as indicated. Additional laboratory fees may apply.
Problem visit
$50-150
Problem-focused visit in-home or via Telehealth. Ex: UTI, HSV, vaginal infection, miscarriage, family planning. Additional laboratory fees may apply.
